Hey Bees! It’s the last day of February, which means March is officially upon us. 

The month of March is worth celebrating in more ways than one around the SAU campus. March is the month of Women’s History and St. Patrick’s day, but the campus community will have something else on their minds: SPRING BREAK!

St. Ambrose students and faculty will enjoy their Spring break from March 20th to March 24th. While it may seem like the time for rest and relaxation is still eons away, students who plan on traveling are already well into preparation for the week-long break. 

If you plan on traveling to get away from the stressors of school, here are some helpful tips to keep in mind while on vacation:

  1. Use the buddy system!
    1. Traveling in groups is the best way to stay safe while on vacation. 
  2. Use a travel website to book plane tickets/hotel stays.
    1. Many websites try to find you the best amenities at the cheapest price!
  3. Check out the free things to do in your area!
    1. A simple Google search should bring you plenty of information regarding cheap/free activities near you.
  4. Pack light!
